Fortunately for you, we don’t. At Relish Catering & Events, we are completely custom. We create unique menus for each individual event that we do. We will work with you to design a menu that matches your style, taste, dietary restrictions, and budget. Let your personality show through your entire event, including your menu. In order to guarantee a spectacular event, we do have a $2,500 food minimum for weddings. Keep in mind this can be used for hors d’oeuvre, dinner, late-night snacks, and even desserts.
We recommend choosing your caterer nine to 12 months prior to your event date. It is really important that you have selected your wedding venue prior to starting the caterer selection process. Since we are full service, it is important that your event designer knows where your reception will be so that we can get you the most accurate proposal possible.
We do fill up most weekends from May through October. Therefore, we suggest putting down your deposit a little earlier for these months.
We have a very talented pastry chef. While she is certainly capable of doing full-size wedding cakes, it is not a service we currently offer. However, we do ceremonial cutting cakes and fantastic dessert bars. Talk to our event designers about creating a dessert bar customized for you.
Your event designer will put together a proposal that includes as much or as little as you want. Being that we are full service, we typically include the food, equipment rentals (linens, china, flatware, etc.), and staff. Since we are planning nine to 12 months out, these numbers may adjust based on your final selections and guest counts.
We do have a 19 percent admin fee that is industry standard. This fee covers “bringing the restaurant experience and quality to you.” This will be on your detailed proposal that we design for you. There are no itemized fees on the event date that you need to be aware of. Your proposal will include everything.
Sure! It is your wedding – you can have whatever you want! You will want to confirm with your venue that they allow it, but we will work with you to make sure everything is taken care of. Relish does still require the $2,500 food minimum be met, but that can be used for hors d’oeuvre, desserts, or even late-night snacks.
Yes! We offer a “multiple event” discount if you book us for more than one event during the celebration! We can do rehearsal dinners, welcome receptions, morning-after brunches, or any other type of party!
Relish Catering & Events will travel anywhere within the state of Colorado. Depending on the location and travel times, additional fees may apply (staff hours, lodging, per diem, etc.).
We recommend booking your venue first so we can provide an accurate quote since all venues have different logistical needs including rentals, staff, etc. If you need recommendations for venues that we have partnerships, with please check out our venues page.
We encourage our clients to come in and have a chef’s choice tasting and to design a custom menu that matches your vision for your wedding day.
Since we are a custom caterer, we work hard to accommodate all dietary restrictions.
As a caterer in Colorado, we are not allowed to provide or sell any alcohol to our clients. We are happy to help coordinate with one of our partners in providing the alcohol to your event. While we can’t provide the alcohol, we are licensed to serve it.
Depending on the location of your event, you may be able to provide your own alcohol. If you are at a venue that has a liquor license and provides the alcohol, you will have to purchase it from them. If you are at a venue that allows outside alcohol to be brought in, you are welcome to provide it yourself.
We do not charge a cake cutting fee. It’s part of our services as a full-service caterer.
As a full-service caterer, we will help you with all of your rental needs. We work with several vendors that have a variety of options available for you to choose from.
We always want to make sure our partners are well-fed for your event. We provide four complimentary vendor meals.
We want to make sure that your event goes flawlessly so our staffing ratios are dependent on the type of food service (plates, family-style, buffet, etc.) as well as the logistics involved to make your event run smoothly. Our average ratio for a buffet-style dinner is one server per 20 guests and one bartender per 75 guests. This can vary based on the specific details of your event.
We require at least 48 hours. However, to guarantee availability, we recommend as much notice as possible.
Absolutely! In addition to our monthly lunch special, we can design a menu that fits whatever type of event you are hosting. Please contact us to start designing your custom menu!
We deliver anywhere in the Greater Denver Metro Area. We do travel to other locations out of the Denver area. Please contact our event designer for more details.
